Wonderful book,, a very important and noteworthy story and or comment on each and every page,,, I wish I would have had it as a reminder when my children were growing up,, the bad part is that it made me feel very bad that i did not have the wisdom to spend the time with them as i should have,,, a great reminder of what priorities should be,, i think it should be required reading for all new parents... thank you

I bought the book for my son who is a great dad to his 7 year old son. Our grandson is well cared for and his dad takes him on many one on one adventures, including hiking in Yosemite National Park, hiking along the shores close to their home in Redondo Beach, California. I am so happy that they spend quality time together, that I bought the book to REINFORCE how important time spent with a child really is.

Sometimes we need to be reminded, in our busy lives, how fast our children and grandchildren grow. It's important to remember that the best thing you can give a child is your time to show your love, and not to put off doing things with them until you have time. That may never happen.

The title intrigued me and after reading the opening pages of a father finding his grown son's journal in the attic and comparing an experience they had both shared with his recollection of the same day, I cried. I give the book to all new parents, teachers and even "old" parents as reminder to themselves that love & our time is all our children really want or need.

I was touched by the DVD so much that I ordered two books with the DVD included. One was for my son and one for my son-in-law. Both are very good fathers to their two children. This is my favorite of all your books. I give this book to my customers who are just starting their families. I am amazed today with the numbers of parents who think they can just have "quality" time with their children. I say to these young parents I never heard a child who said, I didn't spend much time with my parents, but we did have some "quality" time. I believe a child only understands "quantity" of time. I have three grown sons whom I have had conversations about what they remembered most about their childhood...all three picked seemingly simple times that I spent 1 on 1 with them. Unfortunately, now I can only look back and HOPE I gave them ENOUGH TIME...because I can't go do it over.
