This is an excellent book. I purchased it to give to my son and daughter-in-law who are expecting their second child. They do a great job with their 3 yr-old now, giving him lots of their time, which he loves. They will have to learn to stretch that time even further in a few months and I wanted to give them this book to support their already great efforts.

This is a wonderful thought provoking book. While reading it I had a "Cats in the Cradle" moment and had to wipe away tears. I an 58 with three grown kids and I wish I had been given this book 30 years ago. I gave it to my son and told him to copy the front cover and put it on his mirror to remind him each morning of what is really important in life.

I ordered this book for my kids as well as my nephews. I did give one to our Team Leader here at Keller Williams. The reaction was the same from them all; they loved the book and have already read parts of it to their children. It's a great book and holds more meaning for me than I could have realized. This is my favorite of all your books. I give this book to my customers who are just starting their families. I am amazed today with the numbers of parents who think they can just have "quality" time with their children. I say to these young parents I never heard a child who said, I didn't spend much time with my parents, but we did have some "quality" time. I believe a child only understands "quantity" of time. I have three grown sons whom I have had conversations about what they remembered most about their childhood...all three picked seemingly simple times that I spent 1 on 1 with them.
