The DVD is what I watched first. Then reading this book gave me a clear perspective on (my) life.

It was my Mom who brought "the dash" on all our relatives graves to my attention. I was 5 or 6 years old when this happened. Telling me how old each person was when they joined our Lord in heaven. Until I was able to clear my way through the baggage in my life, that I understood the dash. Reading this book and sharing it with friends has given me what I want for life. Now I am peaceful, happy and full of love for all people. I strongly recommend this book no matter where you are in your life.

My daughter Diane died in 1992 at 33, leaving behind her husband and six children whose ages ranged from 10 to 11-1/2 months, but she filled her 33-year DASH beautifully. Those children have grown up to be wonderful adults because of the example she provided. I'm 77 now and only pray that my DASH, whenever that end time comes, will cause those who know me to say the same thing.

This book is a rare and precious jewel. Thank you Linda Ellis - this book touched my heart. I have a sisterhood of friends and one year I gave all my sisters a copy of the book for Christmas. It was one of the best gifts they ever received. I volunteer at a non-profit grief support program for Children, teens & their families. I've referred to this book many times during group. Also, when you send a sympathy card it's always nice to send the book to give comfort to the bereaved. I always receive a thank-you card telling me the book offered them so much comfort. I read your newletter everyday and always gain inspiration from doing so.

My mother has Alzheimer's for 7 years now and cannot remember the years but I can and I know that when that final date comes along I will have many other years to look back on fondly with how she lived her "dash" and this horrid disease will not be a big part of it!
