I had purchased the original Dash and after reading I share it with my cousin who told me she was never giving it back to me. So when I saw this new one I had to have it. I could not put it down once I started....The stories that was added from others that have read the original Dash all brought me to tears every page I read....My mother saw me reading it and I was crying and she asked me what was wrong, after finishing it I let her read it, she told me on Saturday that I will need to buy another again because I will not be getting it back. I think I will have to purchase a case.

I had purchased a copy of THE DASH a few years ago. Both my husband and I truly have tried to live our lives in the way we would want to be remembered. Before my husband died in July of 2012, he planned his "Celebration of Life" service. He wanted THE DASH to be included in the service. As per his wishes, this was done. Many, many people had never heard of THE DASH and were very touched by its' message. I have purchased many books from this company. One of which is Dash. I have read many of them and have watched many of the DVD's. I have not completed reading Dash; however, have read much of it and it is amazing. I would recommend this book along with almost any book on this site. They are all amazing. My husband has put me on a budget for the time being as I have bought way to many to read for the time being. I have to read about a quarter of the book when I get one so I have all these books about a quarter read that need to be finished they are all so great with fantastic authors. Thank You all!

I shared this book with fellow members of a grief class I have been attending. We all had lost a spouse, parent or child, some just a few months earlier, some a few years ago.
I got 'The Dash' email video just a couple of weeks after my husband's passing and it articulated beautifully what I had been thinking about my husband's 'dash'. He pretty much lived it to the fullest and with the principles outlined in the story.
I thought it was a way to honor my husband, but also provide some comfort and inspiration to my fellow grievers.
I've gotten very positive comments from those in my group that have read it. They had heard me talk about 'the dash' and were thrilled to have it for themselves.

No matter how many times I read this book it gives me chills. If a person can't get this message of what is and what isn't important in life, I don't think they would get it. I know many of us in life want a certain amount of financial freedom AND time freedom, but at what cost? This book reminds me to keep that in mind.
