Amazing book. I collect butterfly things
because of the hopeful change factor in
life. This book shows how we affect others
and like snowflakes and people- there is only one unique and no duplicates. God tells us
we are wonderfully made and each person has]
a purpose in life and we change as we grow and
hopefully influence others for good.

We gave this as a gift to a daughter from the example given in an email so we haven't really read the whole book. Your products are wonderful and meet with the way we believe in so many instances. Thank you for the good that you do and supplying uplifting material for us to read and ponder.

I gave this to each of my sisters-in-law and each of my children. I loved the information in the book, and thought it was special that George Washington Carver was from our home town and was included in the book.

Butterfly Effect
From Deedra Bovard of Fort Wayne, Indiana on 11/9/2011 .
I had seen the author talking about this book on TV, so I decided to buy it for a friend. It is BEAUTIFUL and would make an excellent gift, for men or women. Before I gave it to my friend, I decided to read it myself and I was very touched and encouraged. (Since it's a hardcover, you can't tell that anyone has read it!) I will be buying more.
Butterfly Effect
From Sharon Cathcart of Littleton, Colorado on 11/9/2011 .
This edition of Andy Andrews' "The Butterfly Effect" turns the author's well-known speech into a delightful gift book. He looks at how the actions of the historical profies affected their contemporaries, and how their actions continue to affect us today -- many years after the fact. I found Andrews' little book to be thought-provoking and inspiring. The idea that all of us matter in ways that we don't even know is one that I believe should be taught early on; you never know when your kindness to another person will make a world of difference to them. Highly recommended.
Butterfly Effect
From Julianna Klassen of Deluth, Minnesota on 11/9/2011 .
The gift book "The Butterfly Effect" is beautifully and artistically put together - the kind of book that is visually appealing. Andrews applies the idea that each of our actions have a powerful effect. None of us can say that we are not important or that our life does not matter. We affect others by our words and actions in ways we cannot see. In the book, the author uses real life stories to demonstrate how a seemingly isolated or simple act/decision of one person changed the course of history. Not one of us is created without purpose, not one of us is expendable in the eyes of God and we have within us the potential to make a difference in the world in which we live. This book, like all of Andy Andrews books, is thought provoking in its unique presentation.
Butterfly Effect
From Linda Long of Macon, Georgia on 11/9/2011 .
The subtitle for this book is "How Your Life Matters" and it is so appropriate. We may never know how the things we do in our life affect other people even several generations removed. Mr. Andrew calls it a "ripple effect" and gives many examples of this through history. This book is easy to read in one short setting but makes you realize just how important the things we do everyday are. We never know which thing we do will make an impact on future generations so we should live our lives with that in mind. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and feel it is a good read for everyone. I plan to pass the book on and hope the next person to read it will do the same.
Buterfly Effect
From Monty Rainey of Richardson, Texas on 11/9/2011 .
THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT by Andy Andrews can be read cover to cover in fifteen minutes, but I have read 1,000 page tomes that did not contain a fraction of the message and meaning of this tiny book. If you have seen Andy's DVD, The Seven Decisions, this is the same message Andy presents regarding the butterfly effect, specifically where he talks about the actions of Col. Chamberlin and Norman Borlaug. These are both incredible stories everyone should hear. I have used both of these stories to close training meetings and they are always met with tremendous emotion
Butterfly Effect
From Rebecca Henderson of Olathe, Kansas on 11/9/2011 .
This is a short, but very profound, book. Andy Andrews' newest book touched me in a way that few books do - with a lasting impact. A must read that would make a perfect gift for just about anyone!
Butterfly effect
From Kara Swanson of Clarksville, Tennessee on 11/9/2011 .
Andy Andrews' book "The Butterfly Effect" is an inspirational little book that contends that our every action can have a significant impact on others, even generations to come. Starting with the story of a Union captain whose actions altered the course of the Civil War, Andrews shares a variety of short vignettes that make it clear how important our every action is. This is a lovely little book and I enjoyed reading it. It is a quick read and beautifully presented. I'd highly recommend it as a gift for a loved one.
Changed my thinking!
From B Cooper of San Diego, California on 11/6/2011 .
The book really speaks to me, as well as the DVD. It was a beautiful reminder that we ALL make a difference in the world, all the time. We impact others, and others impact us, and to have faith that we are just where we need to be. It touched me in a huge way. I bought 8 copies to give to a friends. I know they will hear the message loud and clear.
The Butterfly Effect
From Delores Thomas of Peachland, North Carolina on 10/17/2011 .
I had heard of this DVD and love butterflies--have photos all over my house with butterflies in them. Recently I saw this DVD at a Women on Mission event (WMU) and wanted it myself to use on other occasions, but the really awesome thing is the book and the DVD which come with the package--Andy Andrews speaks eloquently about the affect of what we do, as in the gentle flap of a butterfly wing affecting weather patterns elsewhere. What each of us does matters now and later and later!

We really love this book and video. When my 17 year old son read it, he asked us to get more. We're giving one to a young graduate as a gift.
Small Book; Big Impact!
From Susan Taylor of Arvada, Colorado on 2/28/2011 .
I love to read inspirational stories and have read many of Andy Andrew's books... several times over! The Butterfly Effect is a great book for the coffee table; a quick read that will leave you with a new attitude and positive outlook on life. As in his other books, Andy gives a different perspective for you to consider, and it leaves you feeling positive and encouraged that you too can make a difference. The Butterfly Effect tells us that even though we may never be famous, the smallest things we do can have the biggest impact! It makes me think twice about the actions I take and the comments I make. Andy's inspirations can help us all lead more positive, loving & productive lives!
