One tree can start a forest,
One smile can begin a friendship,
One hand can lift a soul,
One word can frame the goal,
One candle can wipe out darkness,
One laugh can conquer gloom,
One hope can raise our spirits,
choice can change your life. (Note this poem is also

Think about that. One choice, just one, can change your life
forever. Simply put, your life today is what your choices have made it,
but with new choices, you can change directions this very

This is one of the most important messages that all people, especially young people, need to hear. It is one of the key concepts that I use in Prison Ministry..this concept helps the incarcerated to come to accept the fact that they bear responsibility for where they are today, and that by making better choices they can have a positive influence on their future. NOBODY more about the SINGULAR TRUISM of our ability to CHOOSE what is in our lives and the EFFECTS in our lives WE CONTROL by choice! And Mr. Anderson's chapter topics are spot on, of course - especially chapter 8 in my humble opinion. That being said, I almost didn't purchase the book because while EVERYTHING we need to do STARTS with one choice, you make one, and think that's it and you're good to go and you'll go nowhere! It takes follow-through! So I thought the book might have been a little "pollyanna" - but indeed some great personal vignettes of several people who made "that initial choice they needed to make" and then acted on them.
From Paul Adams of De Soto, Missouri on 12/14/2012.
Book was so good, I ordered on for my daughter.
From Nick Nichols of Lancaster, Pennsylvania on 12/13/2012.
I purchased several of these books specifically to give to my clients as a gift for buying health insurance. To the person they raved about the gift thinking it was so thoughtful. One client even ordered 20 of her own to give to her hair salon customers as gifts for Christmas.

A great deal of stories and quotes from other people's lives and situations. Ok, not great. I look for deeper books with steps to accomplish and this is more of a story book.
From Anonymous of SSHELBY TOWNSHIP, Michigan on 8/6/2012.
I purchSED IT FOR MY 15 YEAR OLD GRANDSON. BbEAUTIFUL BOOK BUT I THINK TOO WORDY FOR A TEENAGER TO GET THE TRUE MEANING. I BOUGHT IT AS A XMAS GIFT AND ENJOYED READING IT; HOWEVER, NOTHING IN IT STRUCK ME AS STANDING OUT FOR A TEENAGER. I DID NOT WATCH THE CD AS I WANT TO WATCH IT TOGETHER AND AFTER HE HAS READ THE BOOK DISCUSS HIS THOUGHTS ON THE BOOK.
From Anonymous of Florissant, Missouri on 7/30/2012.
So many wonderful words to live by. Bought this for a gift, but things have changed and it will not be going to the designated person, by my choice, however, I know it will be the perfect gift for someone soon. Such an inspirational gift.

Mr. Anderson,It is hard for me to review your books as I am purchasing them for my grandson. I will say he is reading them and right now we have about 11 books to go to bring his library current with your list of books available. Keep up the good work and may God continue to bless and use you in a mighty way for His kingdom as you continue to make books available to the public to improve their lives. What a blessing you and your company are.Sincerely,Christine Herrmannn

Mac, I purchased this book for a family member and wasn't aable to see it. I have purchased several other books and have enjoyed them all. I ONLY WISH YOU WOULD ALLOW THE CUSTOMER TO ASSEMBLE SETS/COLLECTIONS WITH THE TITLES WE DESIRE RATHER THAN LIMITING THE SETS TO A PREDETERMINED GROUP. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE OPTIONS TO BUILD SETS IN GROUPS OF FIVE-TEN AND FIFTEEN BOOKS AT A TIME AND ALL WITH THE FREE dvd. I KNOW I WOULD BUT MORE SETS AS GIFTS. PERHAPS YOU COULD OFFER THIS BEFORE THE HOLIDAYS ARRIVE. IT WOULD ALSO BE JUST AS NICE TO SEE THE SETS GO ON SALE AS THE OTHER BOOKS DO. JUST MY THOUGHTS BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL AT SIMPLLE TRUTH'S

Glad I made the choice to buy this book! Short stories, easy to read, and thought- provoking quotes make this an excellent book to own or give as gifts. When you realize the impact our choices have on our lives, it makes living each day more " conscious living"... And that is so much more fulfilling.
From Curt Anderson of Reston, Virginia on 9/23/2011.
The book is fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a little common sense guidance to get their next path set in motion. It provides great value and insight. Go buy this book!
From Judith RN of Grosse Pointe, Michigan on 5/14/2011.
I have this book and purchased three more copies for family and friends. It is as I tell people I sent it to a "quick easy read that gives you pause to think about choices we make on a daily basis". I will eventually buy more copies as I share this with others.
