What a wonderful book!! The first chapter on worry is by itself, well worth the price of the book. A fantastic read with so many pearls of wisdom to be mined. I hadn’t admitted (until reading this book) that I was giving myself excuses for being lazy. My husband died, I was getting older, I felt I “deserved” to be lazy, and, as you point out; it becomes easier and easier to live with a messy desk, an unmade bed and dishes in the sink.
Your book pointed out to me in Rule 9 that I had a gradual loss of self-discipline. Fortunately, your book included the “kick-in-the-pants” rule that made me aware of my condition.
